Hi Gasification Colleagues,

I have posted for you photographs from my recent visit to Chile on the Fluidyne Archive www.fluidynenz.250x.com which I hope might be of interest. My thanks to Douglas Diaz and business Partners for making it happen for Chile.

In view of recent questions posed by this forum, you should take time to read all sections of this Archive. It was set up for you the members, when I was finally forced to close the New Zealand Workshop of Fluidyne in 1998, and I was encouraged to preserve information that no other literature provides, at least from a practical perspective.

Time passes all to quickly, and World energy continues to be manipulated in ways that cannot be predicable, other than becoming more expensive and in restricted supply for some. Gasification is not the only answer, but it can provide time to develop less accessible options, that is if they exist some time into the future. For some, gasification will be the only option, and they are the people that I continue to assist, as I find them.

If you are thinking that gasification is a possible answer, then do yourself a favour, and build a DIY gasifier from the Fluidyne Archive, it works, and you can learn how to make producer gas correctly, before embarking on some fantastic process that is years away from practical use.

It is not a technology for the faint hearted, requiring a harsh discipline of self regulation, and a leash on over enthusiastic promotion, without proof of expertise, or concept. We need to do it once, do it right, and if we are lucky, see our projects applied into a sustainable energy future. It cannot happen by just talking about every one else's technology, so make it happen now for yourselves.
Liquid fuels are for the big boys, and you will certainly be trampled in the rush to cash in on this new funded cash cow, but I guess the blinkers are down, and the addiction to liquid fuels will prevail, as nobody is prepared to really take responsibility for their own future.

For those who are really interested in gasification, I hope my posting continue to be relevant to your interest.
Doug Williams,
Fluidyne Gasification.
