You're right.
So, I'll rephrase it:
With all due respect, some examples shouldn't be followed - like
including a nationality to one's criticism as if it it had any
importance whatsoever. Would it have mattered if it were British
blah-blah-blah; or how about Chinese or Aussie blah-blah-blah?
I don't think it changes my point though.
