 Dear Mike,
If you look carefully at the UK GW Swindle presentation, the specifics of each one of the technical thrusts made in your citations are addressed. Most of the "global warming" occurred pre-1940 when the serious post war industrialization and CO2 emission level increases occurred. Additionally, the glacial global warming preceded the carbon dioxide level bulit up, not lead it as Gore would have you think. None of the technical information presented in your citations have been left unaddressed in this presentation.
There are scientists in the UK presentation which are on the IPCC, or were on it, and are as competent as any cited in the media citations or other citations you presented. There are more defecting from the GW bandwagon every day.
As to the hurricane season, it was caused by dust storms in the North Africa area which prevented aerosol formation of clouds and hence the hurricane season, as reported in Science magazine. Additional Science reportings showed that man-made atmospheric particulate matter prevented aerosol nucleation and hence rain in Central China.
We have our weather affected by sunspot activity, not by CO2 build up. Even though my activities would be greatly enhanced by the GW concerns, I cannot support the proposition. CO2 is too low in concentration, and is removed from the atmosphere too fast to have any significant impact upon the conductivity or transmissivity of the atmosphere.

  Dear Tom,

First: Who's "we"? On who's behalf are you speaking?

Second: It was your emotional response to which I took exception
(remember the "Ouija board" nonsense?).

Third: Are you really having trouble finding information?

Here's some:

"Most of the observed increase in globally averaged temperatures since the
mid-20th century is very likely due to the observed increase in
anthropogenic
greenhouse gas concentrations."

"Human activities ... are modifying the concentration of atmospheric
constituents ... that absorb or scatter radiant energy. Most of the
observed warming over the last 50 years is likely to have been due to
the increase in greenhouse gas concentrations."

"This conclusion is endorsed by the National Academy of Sciences,

and its parent organization, the American Institute of Physics,
the national science academies of the G8 nations, Brazil, China,
and India. and the American Association for the Advancement of Science."
