Oh Mike, Sorry to mention the bit that you really wanted to hear.
When you see the hill coming up, you opened the petrol/alcohol pipeline, and
applied
a gentle foot to the fuel pedal as well as the gas pedal with perhaps a
gentle nudge on the carby choke control.
Oh those good old days that made mankind dump their gasifiers the moment
that petrol became available after the war finished.
About the onlt thing they were good for was saving petrol and making sure
that you wife could not drive the car!!!
