[Gasification] grate by Jeff Davis

  What materials are you using for your grate?  Have you looked into ceramics (clay) that can be fired to 2200 f, perhaps stainless needles for reinforcement?  I can buy 50 lbs of the ceramic for less than $30 that would make many grates of various size, even by hand forming.  How about lining the high temp section with the ceramic?
