It's already been addressed and something is being done about it.

Just give it a chance. Forums like this are few and far between. Tom and 
Mike (apologies if I missed anyone) have done a superb job at 
maintaining a forum where mutual respect is the rule and not the 
exception. With this much latitude, there are bound to be cycles of off 
topic discussions.
