The (free) Google search from the gasification pages
(http://gasifiers.bioenergylists.org ) points to www.repp.org You get many
links to messages from Gasification and Stoves that contain discussions of
grates. You are then given the option of searching the web or www.repp.org.
It defaults to the web, which you probably did.

If you combine "stainless" and "grate" in your search term you will get
messages that have both terms.

>Maybe organizing the Arcs should be a top priority project??

We'll work on it. This is a volunteer activity with no budget so we do what
we decide to make time and funds for.

The continuing educational process is a challenge. We have made the archives
so they can be searched and browsed. We set up the website in a way that
subscribers to the site can contribute information so that it can be easily
found. Information that is posted as "stories" on the site can be organized
into topic areas an tagged with appropriate terms. Not many list members
have been interested in becoming volunteer topic editors for the web site.
People are more interested in gasifiers than in publishing.
