Hi Tom;

I just went and gave it a try -- works real well -- results show up back to
1996.

Here are some hints folks to make it really shine.

Once you have entered in any search term and google returns those results.

Right near the top will be your original search term -- then the the right
-- the search button -- but just to the top right of that in small letters
is another button -- "Advanced Search"

I just tried that -- putting "Vermont" in the tops box -- and "FERCO" in
the box below labeled:

"with at least one of the words"

I then changed the "results" number from "10" to "100"

And in it all came.

Here is but one example -- appended

Mark:
Great response. As I mentioned to Bob Litt, some folks
just can't stand watching someone else be successful.
Best wishes for an enjoyable Holiday.

  Subject: FERCO
  Ben and all,To
clear the air -- 1. The composition of the gas produced in the
FERCO process is between 450 and 500 Btu/scf (dry basis) -- data from
Burlington operation and Battelle pilot unit are consistent and confirm
  this.2. The $3.00 to $3.50 value is based on a 300 to 400 ton
per day plant (dry basis) and provides a return on investment for the
capital
without needing "subsidies" assuming $0 feedstock. Yes a profitable
business is expected at these rates.3. Wood in Burlington has
been dried in some cases, but is not a requirement. Wood
varying between 10 and 50% has been run in the plant successfully. Wood
is not specially sized -- the spec fo the feed system in Vermont is 3 inch
minus due to the size of the screws.4. The process has been
integrated with a "real gas turbine" at Battelle. Several hundred hours
of operation have been logged.5. Yes, system efficiency is
impacted as wood moisture changes, but -- the heating value of the gas does
not change. Operation shows that feed rate can quickly (minutes) be
increased to overcome the reduced gas flow rate at high moisture
levels.6. Steam in the process does not react -- all of it is
recovered as the gas is cooled.7. FERCO is in negotiation for
several projects that have "guaranteed" gas and / or power costs.
Project specifics are, of course, confidential.8. Current
funding from DOE at Burlington is for expansion of the technology's use,
not
for basic development. Planned work is for gas cleaning and biomass
  feeding.Mark PaisleyVP TechnologyFuture Energy
