Patriot supply has branches in many US 
cities.  They have refractories under the 
Vesuvius brand which are quite reasonably 
priced.  A 45 pound bag of 1900º cement for 
$23.04 is not a budget breaker.  A 55 pound bag 
of 2400º castable for $32.87 isn't too bad either.
