Dear Max

I get your point. The Scientifically correct way of determining whether
high Aluminum intake causes Alzheimers would be to do a Double Blind Study.

I have never seen such a double blind study. All I have seen are
statements to the effect "Excess Aluminum is found in the brains of
people with Alzheimers, so you should reduce your aluminum intake. I
have never seen a credible Scientific study which showed that excess
Aluminum in ones diet causes Alzheimers.

See:
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?cmd=Retrieve&db=PubMed&list_uids=2331496&dopt=Abstract
from which I extracted teh closing sentence of the abstract:

"These results suggest that raised tissue aluminum concentrations
reported in Alzheimer's disease are not an exaggeration of a normal
ageing process, are not likely to be simply secondary to increased
dietary aluminum intake, and that Alzheimer's disease does not represent
the chronic toxic effect of moderately raised aluminum levels at the
upper end of the normal distribution."

Best wishes,

Kevin
