Peter enlightened us with:
> In Xaibe Village we still have the annual "Hog's head dance" -- where
> pretty young girls dance with a cooked hogs head on a flat board firmly
> attached to their heads.
>
> As they have done for thousands of years.
>
> Hogs are raised in small pens -- never more than two -- in people's back
> yards -- with tender loving care. And slaughtered in a very "kind" manner.

> The health benefits are astounding!!

> Well -- you moderns have your pills and stuff -- we primitives have good

Dear All,

Too bad Joseph Campbell wasn’t still with us and on the list. He could
explain this much better than I.

Peter, denial true but I also see a total disconnect with reality. For
example when I talk about raising pigs people look at me like I’m some
kind of murderer! They ask, “[h]ow could you kill some poor pig?” Mind you
they are about to stuff some tender beef into their cake hole!!! And I’m
the bad guy! Moderns will look at a field and say, “[t]hat would make a
nice place to build a house.” Maybe denial and a total disconnect with
reality are two different aspects of the same thing.

My great grandfather and grandfather both have slautered pigs, I have not.
But I do have the knowledge (books) and when the time come I just might
have to do it.

==== Our Hero the Pig ====

This is simple stuff. The pig (and other animals) is one of our true
heroes and need to be treated as such right up to the day you shoot
him/her in the head and slit it’s throat to bleed out. They need to be
treated like gods and goddesses. You need to talk to them, spend time with
them, and raise them on the pasture.

You say do not eat meat but only fruits and veggies. Well, I have cut way
down on the amount of meat I eat But same thing applies with veggies. For
example:

A good monk will NOT pluck an apple from the tree! They wait until the
apple falls from the tree and it’s best to catch the apple before it hits
the ground. This is because if the apple hits the ground it may harm or
kill a worm.

==== Meaning ====

So our gods and goddesses can create everything but one thing. We are the
only thing that can create this and what is this?? This is meaning. It’s
time we start doing what we were put here to do

 The creation of
meaning
.

==== Pig Gasification ====

A lot of talk about cow dung, these days. Peter tells us a cow has a 15 to
1 ratio (feed to body weight). A pig has a 3 to 1 ratio, so would pig dung
make better gasifier fuel?
