Too bad Peter couldn't cast some iron plates for a primary(?) battery.

When the plates turned to rust (discarged) he could use his thermo
gasifier to convert the rust to iron (reduction?) and next re-cast the
plates.

Maybe better than Mr. ORC.... if it would work.
