Dear Dr. Reed,
You contribution to this forum is greatly appreciated. Using your advice given me previously, I find using a millivolt meter useful when on the road adjusting the luft control for best power. The signal from the oxygen sensor is indeed 80 millivolts when operating steady-state. This sensor shares it's signal with the Ford computer.
Targeting 80 millivolts with manual controls distracts the driver from the task at hand. If an air-valve could be positioned by logic, a biomass-fueled vehicle could be operated much more safely.
Gasoline price in my region has risen to a point where for each pound of maple blocks I chop and gasify to make shaft-power, I get to keep ~ 12 pennies.
