[Gasification] fuel level monitoring

a long slit of tempered glass will work, oddly enough. i built a full fuel
hopper out of glass so i could see the fuel. i actually just used thick
plate glass, and it worked ok until a air leak let the pyrolysis zone
migrate up the hopper. then it cracked. tempered glass should do much
better.
either way, the glass needs to stay above the pyrolysis zone so the temp is
low. and you need to use high temp silicone to seal it in.
watching the steam and fuel movement is more fun than looking at the outside
of a tank . . . ;-)
