Dear Bora,
You can use a rotating fin inside your reactor when the rotating is blocked
it means that you have wood to block the rotation when it rotates freely
this means your wood level is bellow the fin. This works like a level
sensor, you have to select the correct motor and sensors for it, we use it.
Let me know if this will solve the problem

Subject: [Gasification] fuel level monitoring

Dear Sirs,

We are looking for a solution to monitor the inside of our downdraft
gasifier. Can you please advise on a possible solution, so that we can check
if it is suitable for our application ?

The fuel, in the form briquettes, is fed on the top of the gasifier. We need
to see the level of the fuel inside in order to run well and continuously.

Sincerely yours,
Bora
