[Gasification] fuel level monitoring

Dear Jim

I can see the glass covered slit or "inspection port" working with a
stratified downdraft gasifier that was open to atmosphere, and had full
air flow down through the bed. However, with an Imbert type gasifier,
having a closed fuel hopper, I would think that tars would condense on
the relatively cold glass and make it difficult to see fuel height. Sort
of like a "transparent monorator."

Best wishes,

Kevin
