Yes, CO2 comes out the exhaust, but it comes from plant matter, not 
fossil fuel.  One thing about "greenhouse gasses" which is not 
mentioned is that water vapor has much more effect than CO2.  In 
fact, that is one reason why deserts get so cold at night.
