One thing about "greenhouse gasses" which is not

yes, h2o is a worse green house gas, but its persistence is much less. the
breakdown rate of h2o is so much faster than co2 that i believe its
cumulative effects on temp are less than co2. i do not have the actual
numbers, but such was the case last time i went through it. either way, the
ghg effect of h2o is a good way to put a hydrogen economy promoter off
balance in a neighborly debate.
ghg's vary in their effects on climate by their composition, reactivity,
persistence, altitude and latidude of emission. and probably much more. it
is unfortunate that we have glossed green house causing factors to "co2",
and often "carbon". it is not a very accurate gloss.
either way, we must stop the hippie composters, before their methane
emissions destroy all of us! ;-)
