[Gasification] Man made global warming and gasification

There is hot political discussion over regulatory 'permitting' for a
proposed coal gasification plant on the site of a disabled nuclear plant in
Wiscasset Maine. Coal would be barged/trained to the plant.
So when you say that man made global warming shouldn't be part of the
discussion on 'allowing' this plant to be built; I wonder if you are a bit
naïve, since all the pro/con discussion for the most part includes various
G.W. points.
At least in this part of the globe; governmental bodies rule and
regulate--not always according to the law, which has become increasingly
vague--yet, another frightening trend in our State Government.
These regulatory parameters will eventually decide which type of gasifier
will be built, and even whether they will be built at all!
