[Gasification] Patents

The European equivalent is the European Patent Office. Its website is at
ep.espace.com and in the search there are also US patents included.
The great thing about the European patent system is that each is
accompanied with a search report that explains you which claims are
valid and where to find the info when a claim is dismissed. The validity
of this search report may be challenged in court, but it certainly gives
good clues.
These search reports also make you think twice before you file bullshit
patents, because loads of patents with negative search reports (all
claims dismissed, because they are already covered by an earlier patent)
is not good advertisement.
