the patent office was never intended to be used the way it is now... but
hey, freedom of speech does come at a cost after all, don't it....

"Cocksure" maybe, it was a very expensive lesson for me. How many patents
have you received or applied for? Have you ever been to the Patent and
Trademark office?
My patent was within days of being issued, not denied, and I dropped it
because of the foreigners (Asians) that I witnessed taking away US patents
for the cost of a copy. Four (4) years building a $150k prototype and
$15,000 my cost (just for the patent expense) and theirs $1.50 (.10 per
page). You can't see whats wrong with that? I see it as a huge loss that
every inventor (and there are several on this list) should be concerned
with.
