Tom and others -- I think the above is what Mr. Krishnaswamy is refering
to in John Webster's original post.

John, among other things said:  " Meaning equipment cost less tha a
couple thousand dollars a MW."

   And, of course, nobody in this world is going to sell any sort of
gasofier for $2,000 @ MW. I think this was a typo on John's part,
hopefully he meant @ KW. As you pointed out, he's not likely to get it
for less than $5000 @ KW at this point. Unless Mr. Krishnaswamy or
someone else in India or China can do better.
