Dear Paul,
Sunny Greetings.
Thanks for referring to Stoves discussion forum.
I have initiated this non profit organisation PRINCE (Promoters &
Researchers In Non Conventional Energy) and this is what we do. Our
activities can be viewed at www.princeindia.org
This is a small voluntary group and most of us are teaching in engineering
institute in Dhule, a town in state of Maharashtra, in India. Students are
one of the resources we have and with their active involvement we try to
design and develop different projects and products in renewable energy. We
have few designs of solar concentrating cookers in the market and few more
are on the verge of getting ready for the market. We also work in biogas.
Wood stoves and gasifiers is the new addition to our activities.
We are not academic institution and more interested in field tests. For
stoves we will have only start up test and thermal efficiency tests. If you
have any suggestions please do bring to our notice. We are more interested
in capacity building for the renewable energy products, which we feel we can
promote on large scale. In the past we had conducted 'Entrepreneurship
workshops for solar concentrating cookers" and developed few manufacturers.
Suggestions from the group members are welcome.
Regards,
Prof. Ajay Chandak.
