Dear Tom Miles and All Stovers:

This is great news on the rocket stove front and I intend to order a few
rocket stoves from Approvecho.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Some may think that the Rocket Stove and the WoodGas stove are
competitors, but they are actually complimentary for reasons not
immediately obvious.

The 3 stone stove and the *rocket stoves* use long sticks and Mother
Nature grows lots of long sticks. These are traditional cooking fuels
in developing countries. See

http://www.stoversource.com/

Our WoodGas stove uses small particles (nuts, shells, wood chips,
pellets, twigs, dung, ...) and Mother Nature produces a lot of biomass
particles. These are NOT traditional cooking fuels, but they are widely
available for the WoodGas stove, a whole new category of biomass. See

http://www.woodgas.com/woodgasstoves.htm

So, if we want to solve world cooking problems with biomass fuels, we
need to develop both categories.

Onward to a billion improved stoves,

TOM REED THE BIOMASS ENERGY FOUNDATION
