Norma; thank you for your answer. I say to use firewood as fuel like FAO 72 explain many motors fueled by wood gas. It shows an Massey ferguson tractor with gasifier. One Scania Truck "Jacaré" in Brazil, alligator. An 1.4 MW Power plant to generate electric energy in Paraguay. One motor 90 HP low turns Deutz wood gas fueled. But nothing is tell about what is make with waste heat or BIOHEAT. With intercoolers or heat recovers you have low temp heat for your purpose. We was made an gassifier for electric generation fueling Ford V8 292 cu inch.

Frank - I will review the info at the link you suggested.? We are using a FAN 780.? It is certainly cold enough here to consider freeze drying.

Harry - thank you for the comments about your process.? My cousin runs a large poultry litter drying and pelleting operation, and he was familiar with your work.? One advantage that we have with post-digester fibers from cattle/swine manure is the absence of much of the stuff that blinds centrifuges, etc.? The fibers are very clean and flowable.

Mark - we have had pretty good pellet formation, so perhaps you are on to something on drying the pellets to harden them.? They crumble if immediately and roughly conveyed, so we would want them to be handled a bit more gently.? We have excess electricity produced from our biogas generators so we could run an IR system for a short distance and then finish up with the waste heat.? 

The only other idea I had was to think of something we could blend with the fibers that would titrate the mix down to the right moisture level for reliable pelleting.
