BRAZIL OPENED to ITS MARKET To the IMPORT DE WOOD CHIPS OF PINE OF
ARGENTINA the National Service of Health and Agro-alimentary Quality
(Senasa) informs that Brazil opened to its market to the import of
wood Chips of Pinus taeda (pine) coming from Argentina. The
measurement, managed by the Senasa before the Brazilian fitosanitarias
authorities, was communicated the president of the sanitary Organism,
Jorge Amaya, by the Agricultural Council of the Argentina Embassy in
Brazil. The Normative Instruction Nº 1/2008 of the Ministry of
Agriculture, Cattle and Supplying of Brazil (MAP) establishes between
the fitosanitarios requirements for the entrance of the product that
will have to be used for transformation, not to have crust, being of 6
mm of thickness and 50 mm in length and will have to go accompanied by
a fitosanitario certificate emitted by the Senasa. Also, the shipment
will have to be free of ground, fruits or cones, leaves or acículas
and other vegetal rest susceptible to transport plagues. Besides to
fulfill requisite sayings, the shipment will be put under an
inspection in the point of entrance by the personnel of the MAP and
could be subject to the taking of samples for fitosanitario analysis
in the laboratories qualified by this organism. Also Chile In January
last through managements of the Senasa the Agricultural Service and
Ganadero (SAG) of Chile opened to the market from that country to the
chip import or wood Chips of Quassia spp. coming from Argentina ||
