I have made some in 1 gal. paint cans 3/4 full using one of Lanny's stove designs off of the stove list. It worked real well. I just shook the can a couple of times. Don't see why you couldn't scale up utilizing some sort of, as you stated "rotating drum", or one that could be rolled to and fro on a rack. Should be something that can be done pretty easily.
