[Gasification] Final control set for gasifier automation

 Greetings List(s).

I've been busy of late, finalizing an automation control set for a woodchip
downdraft gasifying boiler (hot water only), (true downdraft).

I have now finalized these, and will be finishing the first p.c. (printed
circuit) board set (4 pcs.) as a prototype, with printed & etched versions
shortly.

I'm asking again if anyone has some input on the design that they think I
might have overlooked OR have done, in an unusual (or non-standard industry)
fashion, as this is NOT my true area of expertise.

The Following is a brief description of areas of monitor, and control.

Main Feedstock Bunker: (this has an autofeed to the "stoker hopper")

2 areas of monitor, 1 sets an alarm state.

Low Bunker (roughly 24 hours of feedstock left) (full bunker is 170+
hours @ 150,000 btu/hr)

Bunker Empty (sets alarm, and shuts unit down.)

 Stoker Hopper:

3 areas of monitor, (full, feed, problem), 1 sets alarm state

    Full (stops autofeed from bunker)

    Feed (starts autofeed from bunker)

Problem (feed problem, sets alarm, shuts unit down)

 Water Controls:

3 areas of monitor, (2 set alarm state)

   Hi/low cycle (demand for heat)

Overheat (sets alarm, shuts unit down)

Low water (sets alarm, Shuts unit down)

 Keep alive:

periodic "keep alive timer" with demand reset

This unit simply counts to "N" if a demand event has not happened within
this count, this unit will low fire the gasifier for a short period, to
simply keep the char bed active. ( Example a warm spring day, where the
boiler has only fired once or twice in a twelve hour period, this timer
would for example, fire once every hour for three minutes, to keep the char
bed active).

Any comments/input welcome (good or bad)

 Greg Manning
