[Gasification] Rice hulls. Carbon and Silica both valuable.

Heh you guys arguing about silica and char, and peak oil for that matter.
There is a lot more to it than meets your eyes! I say the 3rd world has got
us licked!
Those Philippino rice hulls stoves produce a clean smokeless flame with
nothing to
irritate the eyes and breathing of women whom we hope will no longer die of
emphysema
in smokey huts. What they also do is discharge a half half silica/carbon
char which is a number one fertiliser!
No it doesn't have any nitrogen phosphate or potash, but it is a very good
cation exchange medium.
That means that it latches onto all the minerals that would otherwise get
leached out of impoverished wornout soils
and holds onto everything untill the plant roots can take it up. Nothing
is wasted from those ricehull stoves.
Twobits from an old timer whose been there done that! Ken Calvert.
