Kenn, Ken, Max and all,

I don´t know where the fairs ob Canadian rail come from, but they are
exessive.
But please be fair, remember the aviation fuel is mostly untaxed, the gov.
(we all) pay for the infrastructures and most of the ground personell,
including safety,
and nobody ever counts the environmental costb of transport.
This taken into account, train is king on land and ship over water.
A big hope is monorail highspeed transport( 500 mph) which nearly combines
all advantages of air and rail.
It won´t work until the tracks are built, though, different from air
transport.
Rolf
