Let me get this straight.  Are you arguing that the Iraq War is 
irrelevant to gasification's prospects for economic viability?  But 
hey, maybe it is, except as an exercise in historical 
analysis.  There's no way Iraq will be producing enough oil any time 
soon to measurably impact prices.  So unless the global economy 
tanks, y'all should have your best shot since the 70s.
