Ok,something doesn't sound right, why would you want to increase compression
on a turbo charged diesel, only to decrease it again by cutting some groves
in the cylinder head?
Sounds more like a lot of hand waving than actual science.
As it is, I don't think that you are going to be able increase compression
anyway since the turbo is going to putting all the air into the cylinder
that's it going to be able to hold. You want increased compression
decrease the amount flowing through the waste gate.

In case the engine is opened up for shaving the cylinder head for increasing
the compression ratio,
this opportunity can be used to cut grooves on the cylinder head as per Mr
Somender Singh's US
Patent, details are in his website www.somender-singh.com. Grooves are
claimed to increase mileage and
reduce engine pinging.
