Dyno tests by users is not independent lab work, nor is Popular Science or
National Geographic peer reviewed magazines ( quite the opposite in fact ).
I looked at some of those Dyno test's and at least in one, the head is of a
completely different shape ( including the placement and angle of the spark
plug ) http://somender-singh.com/content/view/12/37/ . That is not a
valid test at all, as many factors have changed - not just one.
As to how this even applies to the diesel engines ( that we were talking
about ) is beyond me - especially since there is no diesel data.
