[Greenbuilding] CArpet pad, if not green, at least no PBDEs?

You might talk to your carpet supplier and try to have them order an 
extra 200sf on someone else's larger order. 

We ended up with a jute pad and actually really like it.  At one point 
it was possible to find hemp as well.  I vaguely remember a natural wool 
product but it cost nearly as much as the carpet itself.
