You might talk to your carpet supplier and try to have them order an extra
200sf on someone else's larger order.
We ended up with a jute pad and actually really like it. At one point it
was possible to find hemp as well. I vaguely remember a natural wool
product but it cost nearly as much as the carpet itself.
