[Greenbuilding] experience with Enviroshake?

Irina, I just did work on a house that was having trouble with the leaking
in the flashing around a chimney. It wasn't related to the shingles
themselves, but I was there when the roofer came out to look it over. His
first off hand comment was looking up at the plastic/rubber shakes was that
they weren't supposed to curl on the corners as these clearly are after only
four or five years. I don't know the brand but they were guaranteed for 50
years also. Plastic has a "memory" as you commonly see in linolium, where it
curls up on unsecured edges. Where it is stretched and flattened, it wants
to return back to it's original shape over time. I would wonder if this
isn't a similar process.
