[Greenbuilding] Solar panels on top of pergolas

Hi all,

I am considering installing a set of unglazed tube mat panels (for outdoor
swimming pool heating) on top of a garden pergola (thus allowing filtered
sunlight to still reach the ground), and was wondering if anyone has had
experience with that kind of an arrangement. Horizontal installation, 41
degrees north latitude.
