I do not know wherer you are located, but in the USA, there are many  options 
IN PLACE, for almost 10 years. Options include take back and  remanufacture 
by the mill , recycled content nylon, recycled PET, recovery of  ANYONES pvc 
backed carpet for remanufacture, just to name a few..
