Nope. I've had long conversations with Thermotech. The best glass they
have available is the Superglass I spoke of.
But it's good that I'm not life-committed, since with Superglass I
remember a quote for their windows that was OUT OF THIS WORLD expensive:
they were something like $3000 for a single window, if I recall. They
quoted a 10x increased glass price for Superglass (this didn't reflect
what other manufacturers were adding, and it pi$$ed me off).
I liked the Cockney accent.
Actually, when I look at Thermotech's website, the best pure glass
numbers they have are about R-8, and the best full-window performance is
U=.17, nearly an R-6. That's VERY VERY good performance for a window. It
is not, however, an R-17.
