The sink came from Home Depot. A quick google shows my sink currently
available at $189 retail with free shipping (not at home depot, I hate
their website). It was not the cheapest available either.

If they charge you $200, get new suppliers. But really, I wasn't
telling you what to charge. You were complaining that a 'green' sink
was going to cost you $5300. I show you an alternative which should
cost you less than $200, saving you $5100, why are you complaining?

I will be the first to admit that porcelain is not the greenest
manufacturing technique, but compared to wood vanity, and counter top
costing $5300, I suspect it is the greener option. The embodied energy
of that sink HAS to be less than 82 gallons of gas.

You seem awfully defensive. If you think my numbers are off, please
say so. Nobody but you is telling you that a green sink needs to cost
$5000.

Who's preaching? A number of people come to this list looking for
validation of their excuses why they can't be green, rather than ideas
of how they can be green. When they get ideas rather than validation,
some of them go off in a huff, others learn and become some our
greatest proponents.

Thank You Kindly,
