The first question to find an answer for is  'does this match up to our 
North American pipe sizes, or do you need custom made adapters to match 
Euro plumbing to our standard pipes?'

If so, then this would save a lot of water over the life of the unit.
If it works as advertised, of course, but generally German made stuff 
does just that.
