It's interesting (and perhaps appropriate) that there's so much discussion
about toilets at this time during the season of excess consumption here in
the Effluent (sic) West.
And speaking of "1-quart flush" toilets-- it brings back memories of the
"1 Bud flush" (ie something like 12 or 16 fl oz per flush-- whatever a can
of Bubwiser beer holds) toilet that was used in the Toronto Healthy House
years ago. There may still be info on that house at Norbert Senf's website.
And I like Reuben's idea of possibly souping up an existing conventional
toilet to make it work more efficiently rather than rip it out and install
a new designerGreen one. That's one item at the H4H Re-Stores whose
inventory is always a growth industry.
What about installing a gasket on the tank lid so that the lid can be made
to fit tightly enough that the tank can be pressurised (ie with a foot
pump) so that the water entering the bowl applies a jet-powered spray to
power-wash away any stubborn skid marks and partially macerates chunky
stronzi ... and perhaps rigging up some sort of vaccuum device in waste
line (ideally also foot-pump operated, simultaneously so, charged when one
is pumping up the pressure in the tank) so that the contents of the bowl
are super-schlooped away when the flush lever is activated ?
The volume in the tank would be reduced by conventional means (ie a brick
or three or such-like) or perhaps even disconnected from the bowl
altogether and jacked up to provide more head.
You theen ?
Ho! Ho! Ho! Ho!
Merry Christ's mass to y'all. Eh ?
