Hello,

For the dual purpose tankless water heater, I've had clients use the
New York Thermal brand heaters for their off grid straw bale home.
Using it for domestic and radiant. He's pretty keen on watching how
his stuff works, and he hasn't had any problems with the temperature
change and cycling. He loves it in fact. He also has a solar
preheater, just to make it run that much better. It's propane powered
and can be gas or electric depending on the models. Don't be fooled
by the name though, they are made in New Brunswick, Canada (no I
don't know why the name is what it is)

Now as for flushing alternatives:
The first link is a greywater set up right under the bathroom sink,
to use for the toilet.

Handmade toilets from the World Toilet Organization (yup that's what
I said)

The last one is a Canadian design that you can modify any regular
water hog toilet. It's cheap, and would work, and only take a bit of
getting used to I suspect. I kind of like it as a retrofit option.

That should keep all of you who are supposed to be working on this
last day before holidays, distracted.

Merry Christmas everyone and happy holidays.

Stephen
