There doesn't seem to be any words in Spanish that start with chiro- or 
chiroqu-, so you're probably safe using this term in mixed company at 
the next church bazaar... :-)
Sheet  rock, as translated by Babelfish, (a dubious source sometimes) 
comes out as roca de la hoja. (hoy-a)
Another very nice sounding phrase, like chirqueros, but the work still 
sucks. Couldn't somebody add micro-spheres to these panels to lighten 
them and increase their R-value a bit??

Chiroqueros does sound a bit like Chirakowa, one of the sub-tribes 
within the Apache nation.
