Well, if you are going to give up on tankless, here's a possible option: get
the smallest tank-type storage unit (to reduce standby losses), with the
biggest elements (you can get 20 gallon commercial units with 6 kw elements.
Are they O.K. for residential use?), and add a GFX to halve your power
consumption and triple recovery rate.
