[Greenbuilding] barn weathering

We're looking to buy a house with a lovely barn in the back.

The barn has its original stone foundation, a century old.

So if we wanted to weatherize this barn and make it into the greatest most
kickass greatroom of all times....

and say  we wanted to do this ourselves as much as possible in multiple
steps, how would we do this?

Blow in cellulose in the walls and ceiling?

Geotherm for heating and cooling?

Put in a hot rolled steal flooring?

Maybe put in a rumsfordd fireplace from a kit from sweden?

Maybe a wine cellar in the basement?

Let's dream big in the initial planning phase....
