[Greenbuilding] Baxi Luna Question

Steve,
you are right that the baxi has a built in expansion tank (I didn't
catch that in the info I have), so an external would be redundant, the
Quietside also has one built in. The advantage to the
Baxi/Quietside/etc.. is easy installation, plug and play, simple, less
expensive, more reliable, etc..
The Baxi can produce 3.5gpm at a 60deg F temp rise, enough for a shower
at 2.5gpm, but not much more. So for small houses with few people, and
hot water draws that don't happen at the same time its ok. For larger
houses with more people and larger draws a storage tank will greatly
increase the availability of hot water. Although endless hot water
doesn't encourage conservation.
