Contact Fuqua Homes, Boonville Mo. They build school modulars all the
time, ship nationally, and a good friend of mine who designs for them is
involved in developing a Green modular home. The same modular, minus the
kitchen and bedroom walls, would produce a school modular. Tell him
your concerns about offgassing materials and so on, and let him route
you to the right salesman.

Subject: [BULK] [Greenbuilding] healthy modular classrooms and
alternatives
Importance: Low
Our Waldorf school plans on purchasing two modular classrooms for its
kindergartens. Parents are opposed due to the known detrimental effects
of modulars on the health and wellbeing of its inhabitants. Is it
possible to create a healthy modular? And if so, how do we go about it?
Our primary concern is the health of the children and the teachers who
will be in them all day.
Also, are there any other healthy alternatives to modulars that would
also be approved by our Los Angeles County building and safety
department for use as school classrooms?
Thank you so much and I look forward to your responses.
