Here's another tidy summary of lead in drinking water:

It seems CA's Prop 65 limits kitchen faucets to leaching no more than 5ppb.
My conversations with a representative from Delta Faucet suggests that at
least his company has attempted to get all of their "core products" to be
Prop 65 compliant. Delta Faucet, by the way, does not list with NSF, but
with CSA & IAPMO.
