Thanks Chris:
     An alternative approach is to have something to stop the ferrocement on 
one side.   It can be, and often is, cardboard.   You push through. I doubt 
that I'd consider trying to push cement up over the whole surface of a roof.   
For a roof, no where near 50 layers of mesh would be required.   I'd probably 
use 1/4inch mesh woven wire at the core and larger meshes for 'body.'
